MTP Ordinance No. 334: Fine for failure to send events “S-2220 and S-2240” on eSocial, will be applied from January 1, 2023.

Published on 02/18/2022, MTP Ordinance No. 334, of February 17, 2022, which officializes the extension to January 1, 2023, of the mandatory issue of the Professional Social Security Profile (PPP) in an exclusively electronic medium, foreseen in Article 1 of MTP Ordinance No. 313, of September 22, 2021, as amended by MTP Ordinance No. 1,010, of December 24, 2021.

In addition, the ordinance informs that until December 31, 2022, companies, work or production cooperatives and labor management bodies or unions of the category will not be fined for failure to send the events "S-2220 - Monitoring of Occupational Health" and "S-2240 - Environmental Conditions at Work - Harmful Agents" in eSocial.

According to the government, such changes are necessary due to the need for adaptation by companies obliged to send information about Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) events on eSocial.

It is important to clarify that the schedule for sending OSH events was not changed, that is, there was no extension, and companies should take advantage of the year 2022 to prepare and send OSH information to eSocial, adapting to this new way of providing services. information to government entities.

It is also important to note that there was no mention of event S-2210 - Communication of Accident at Work at the entrance.
