eSocial was created through theDecree No. 8373/2014, in a joint initiative of the Federal Revenue Service of Brazil (RFB), Caixa Econômica Federal (CEF), National Institute of Social Security (INSS) and the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE). Through this system, employers now communicate to the Government, in a unified manner, information relating to workers, such as: type of employment, social security contributions, payroll, accident reports
work, prior notice, tax records, FGTS and information on Occupational Health and Safety. Sending information to eSocial will replace filling in, submitting forms and declarations individually to each government agency.
OSH (Occupational Health and Safety) information must be transmitted to eSocial through eventsS-2240: Environmental Work Conditions - Risk Factors,S-2220: Worker Health MonitoringIt isS-2210: Occupational Accident Notice.
